Why I Created Muleway:
I’m a bit of a business collector. I started my first business in college (my first official business that is- I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, peddling goods out of my locker in Jr. High, selling artwork as a high schooler.) I love helping entrepreneurs, because I know the ins and outs, the highs and lows of starting and growing companies.
I spent years working as a graphic and web designer, selling physical products, and working on my various home service industry businesses. (Remember I said I’m a bit of a business collector?)
In my time as a business owner and creating for other entrepreneurs, I kept seeing a common theme when it came to the online presence, digital marketing, and design of busy CEO’s who had done a lot of the startup themselves.
They were beyond capable of learning what needed to be done (I think entrepreneurs are some of the smartest people in the world) The biggest hold up: time.
When you start, run, and grow a business, your to-do list seems never ending and time is your most valuable resource. That’s where the idea for Muleway was born. I saw the pain points of business owners. I’d experienced them first hand. And I knew how valuable a strong brand and marketing strategy could be. How growth really happens when you can hand off the tasks weighing you down and focus on the heart of your business.
So, Muleway was formed. As for the name. Well, you can thank Rowdy, Reddy, Dandy, Indy, Duley, Chloe, and Huck- my family’s work mules- for that.
